Svein Engh

Senior Managing Director

Svein Engh is Head of the Blue Ocean Group at EnTrust Global, Portfolio Manager of the firm’s Blue Ocean Group, and a member of the firm’s Management Committee and Global Investment Committee. He is also a Senior Advisor and a Board Member of Purus, the environmentally focused maritime company launched by EnTrust Global’s Blue Ocean 4Impact strategy. Mr. Engh joined EnTrust Global as a Managing Director in December 2015 and has 36 years of experience in the industry. Before joining the firm, Mr. Engh was Managing Director and Head of Maritime Lending and Leasing at CIT. Prior to that, he was Chief Executive Officer of Octavian Maritime Holdings, Inc., where he was responsible for a lending and leasing portfolio.  Mr. Engh holds a BA and an MBA in Business Administration from Ohio University, where he was the recipient of the Distinguished Professor’s Scholarship and graduated with Honors.
